Our classes
Every class is designed to spark curiosity and
focus in the following areas
MINDFULNESS
Through the use of our five senses we learn to be mindful eaters, while listening to our hunger cues.
BODY IMAGE
Peaches keep us feeling fuller much longer than gummy bears do.
POSITIVE EATING
By only using positive words in the kitchen, we find ways to talk kindly about all foods, even if they aren't our favorites.

SUMMER PEACH SALAD WITH BASIL & DAISIES
NUTRITION
Stone fruits like peaches help ward off obesity related diseases like diabetes. Plus, they are high in Vitamin C which helps protect our skin.
COOKING
Peaches lose their shine as they ripen, and the sweetest fruits of all have small white spots on the top half- a sign of a perfect peach!
FOOD CULTURE
In ancient times, Chinese people believed that the peach tree had greater vitality than any other tree because the blossoms appeared in the spring before the leaves had sprouted.

We can also cook gluten free and vegan meals. Please specify what needs or restrictions you would like us to work with when filling out the contact form, and we will be happy to accommodate.

Who purchases the food for the cooking classes? We will send you a list of ingredients one week prior to the class. As an alternative, we can buy the ingredients online and have them delivered straight to your home. You can expect to budget an average of $5 per child per class, as long as your home is equipped with basic pantry items (olive oil, salt & pepper, butter, milk, eggs, spices and herbs).
-
What tools or props do I need to have at my house?Yoga classes: We ask that you provide one yoga mat per child. Cooking classes: We are experienced, versatile and feel comfortable in any kitchen. We can improvise for certain things, and will double check before if we need any specialty equipment or tools. We do ask that you supply one cutting board and one kid safe knife per child at every class. If you need to purchase these items, we recommend this knife set and thesecutting boards, both available on amazon.
